The film that started it all. Directed by Ishirō Honda, this movie was originally a dark metaphor for nuclear destruction. It introduced the world to the 50-meter tall prehistoric predator.
King Kong vs. Godzilla (1962)
The first time the two biggest icons of cinema met in color! This film changed the tone of the series to be more action-oriented and fun.
